In September, we were nominated for four 2006
Just Plain Folks Awards: Best Contemporary Song ("Hold Me"), Best Rock Song ("Leap Of Faith"), Best Rock Album ("River To The Sea"), and Best Male Vocalist (Dan Merrill).

We actually didn't know Dan was nominated for an award until he won! (We originally thought we received 3 nominations).

Just Plain Folks (JPF) is a worldwide music organization of over 40,000 independent musicians, songwriters, and record labels. Nominations were selected from over 25,000 albums and 350,000
songs. Winners were announced at the JPF Music Awards Show on November 4th, in Santa Ana, CA., at the Galaxy Theater.

It's cliched to say we were just happy to be nominated - that's what the losers say, right?! But, considering the numbers we were up against, the cliche can hold true in this case. We're humbled & honoured by the nominations, and thrilled for Dan's award.
