Hey all,
It's been a little while, but there are many things in the works. We've been hunkering down a little bit, practicing with our new bass player Robbie. Paul moved to second guitar, so now we are a five piece and even louder.
First up- we've got a tour December 12-16.
12/12- The Pant Lab in Winston-Salem with Bodysoil and Loss Prevention
12/13- 303 Mimosa Drive in Greensboro with Boa Narrow
12/14- 121 Huger St in Columbia with Jacob and I
12/15- um... we're not sure about this one yet. Johnson City, Raleigh and Atlanta have all fallen through. We might just stay home. If you have any ideas let us know!
12/16- JJ's Bohemia in Chattanooga with Hoth and Day Star
We are making tshirts tonight at the lovely house of Amanda (of Birds on the Ground fame). So they will be available soon. We just got stickers in too!
We are re-releasing 40 copies of the brown CD (our newest one that is sold out) specially for our little southeast tour. These will be hand-screened by Meg and Dave, in black cases with a different image. Also, we'll be releasing a tape/cd split on Gasping for Breath and an Asian label with Little Girl Terrorist from Singapore. I'm not sure how this is going to work out but it should be interesting! We'll keep you posted as this thing unfolds...
Recording soon at Giraffe Studios. Date undetermined, but it will be done before the spring. Then we'll look for a label.
We may be entering into a digital distro partnership with Iris Distribution (they are the digital peeps with Chemikal Underground, K Records, Kemado, Kranky, Le Tigre and other folks) so we are stoked to be a part of this. This is uncharted territory, and we are proceeding with hopeful trepidation!
