So I'm in Chicago, but as i tried to leave this morning I went to close my car door and it would not shut.  SLAM!  slam slam slam.. are you kidding me.  Stupid door.  I need to hit the road or I'm going to be late for an appointment.  I begin to imagine all th potential electrical problems and all the money that will be spent to resolve this problem.
Clearly the mechanism that holds it closed is not working.. I pull the door closed and then lock the door.. ah, that did the trick.  I head to the gas station before leaving town, pull in and I can't get MY DOOR OPEN!  Ahh... no way!  I climb out the passanger side and pump the gas and then head around to the drivers side door to see if I can gain perspective.
At some point a piece of ice lodged itself in the door handle rendering it useless.  I removed it and all was well.  Stupid me.
Sometime's all you need is to take a step back and give opportunity to restore perspective.  I'm now in Chicago.  Just had some delicious Korean food with my brother in law and looking forward to relaxing the rest of the evening.
