I had tens of thousands of dollars of credit. Then after a European Tour... they changed the rates on me... tried to squeeze me. I sold off some assets. Paid everything off... walked away. I can't rent a car without my manager or family .... or whoever my girlfriend is at the time... lol.... but that's not a big price to pay. I am never going back into their system again.

That's great that you were able to get out of the system, but not everybody has that option, not everybody has assets left to sell. And you know as well as I that much of the debt that a lot of people are carrying around is from medical expenses (even when they have insurance!!).




Re-instatement of usury laws is beyond necessary. We also need to, as Paul Krugman recently stated, break up the mega-banks. "If they're too big to fail, they're too big to exist.
