I've been rehearsing with Easy Street for a few weeks now.  This is a cover band, but with a twist.  The focus here is on the lead singer, Barron. ...well, the Alto/Soprano player, James Brown, could also be considered a focal point. ...and then there's Mike Rosado on drums, yet another highlight. ...and Jay Shirley ..s - on Hammond B3!  Geez, I hope he has a smaller rig for the gig!   ...anyway, this is a strong lineup that should hit the streets in the next few weeks.

Oh yeah, the twist I had mentioned:

Barron (the singer) is all about the show.  He's got theater background and makes for great entertainment. ...and we're covering material from big-band singers (Buble, Sinatra), classic pop (Elvis, Elton and some 'one-hit-wonders' as well) and R&B hits from every era.   NOT your run-o-the-mill cover band!

Man...I've heard these guys are great, and the drummer's really hot. Seriously.

Also...I hear they're playing at Tir Na Nog next month....mmm, smells like a party.
