Wow! We had a great Wrocking New Year show (our first show!!!) at the Sound Cafe in New Orleans last Sunday! I know most of you couldn't be there, so I've got video of our whole show here and pics, too! We met some new people and another Wizard Rock band, the House of Black, who were AWESOME!
Here's some pre-show pics of us:

The House of Black kicked off the show at 6:30 and Wrocked our socks off (or Whouse or W-techno, hee hee)! Here's some pics from their show:

I really enjoyed Erin singing "Unbelievable". We all died laughing during Magus' "All Was Well" and their song "Mary Sue"! It was great!!!
Shortly after they performed we took the stage.

We started off with a new song, "Join the Dark Side"!
(…so couture!)

Next, I sang "The Song That Must Not Be Named," the first song I had ever wrote!

Then, Andromeda took the mic for "Toujours Pur".

After "Toujours Pur was over, we started feelin' the funk and got ready for Narcissa's "Unbreakable Vow"!
After that, we stepped it down a notch and went out of character for the next three songs. I started by singing "I Miss You", which I was very nervous about!
Then, Rachael sang a brand-spankin' new song, "Baby, I'm Back," which is about Sirius coming back from beyond the veil! It's hilarious!

Rebecca then sang for us her beautiful song "Raining at Hogwarts".
Next, we snapped back into character and I wailed the cries of "My Demise" for everyone!

After that...another new song by Andromeda "A Less Pure Kind of Love Song" about her love of that smelly muggle-born Ted Tonks.

And then, yet another new song! You see, I've been searching high and low for my husband Rodolphus Lestrange. He was last seen fighting with my disgusting half-blood niece, Tonks, when all of those Harry's were flying about! "Have You Seen This Wizard?"

Next, Narcissa took to the keyboard and sang "Lucius".
Alas, our show was coming to an end...but we had one more surprise in store! Another new song! It was the "Death Eater Disco" and we hoped that everyone would be boogie-ing all night long!!!
(…straightenin' out his hair.)

After the show we went back to Pattie's apartment and did a podcast! Then, still clad in my "Bella eyes," we strolled on towards the French Quarter to get some food, for we were very hungry!
(Who are these muggles that keep getting in our pics? OH! Is that Snape?!? AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!)

Thanks so much Pattie for having this event and thank you all who came to support us!!! Much love to the House of Black and I hope we can have another show together someday! And a really special thanks to my husband, Chris (officially The Purebloods' groupie) for doing our sound that night! We know you worked almost as hard learning how to use that equipment as we did practicing! We really had a blast and we can't wait to do it again! (If we can all three ever be in the same location again, lol!)
Wrockin' like nobody's business,
~Bella / Laurie~

.........P.S………
Oddly enough, one of the clippings from the insert for the CD's we made fell on the floor in lightning bolt fashion the night before the show! Coincidence? I think not! Very eerie though, lol!
