I'm very sad to say that today, the world lost a truly incredible human being: the phenomenal harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo. As anyone who witnessed him in concert would testify, this man was SO extraordinarily talented and generous in sharing his talent with the world. He had such an electrifying energy while performing; he always lit up the stage with so much love for music and life. I've been fortunate enough to grow up watching him perform, and I can remember, even when I was very young, being blown away by his soulful, powerful, spirited harmonica playing...he added SO much to every song on which he played. Over the years, I always LOVED seeing him perform- what a joy it was, for me and countless others!!!!

Norton Buffalo was also one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met. He had more enthusiasm for life than most, and his unique, positive character was irresistible and contagious. I'm SOOOOOO grateful and blessed to have known such an amazingly goodhearted, insightful person and talented-beyond-belief musician.

Thank you SO much, Norton, for sharing your tremendous gifts with us...the world's a better place for your time spent here!!!! You're in our thoughts always, and we'll NEVER, ever forget you.
