after surviving the midterms (i.e. no sleep, constant studying, and mental anguish), i realized i did well, maybe decent enough. i didn't have to worry, since my studying habits are still up to par. but you take things more seriously when the school money is coming from your own pocket (or in this case a huge loan).

anyway i found that music has always been there for me in times of great highs and lows. i appreciate all the people i play music with present and past. on that note, i played a show last night with my side project. it was at an outdoor Halloween party down the street. after three songs, a man dressed in police uniform arrived with a huge flashlight. i thought it was the best costume i've seen all night. yet his demeanor wasn't friendly at all. it turns out he was real cop and told us stop playing. busted by the cops!

i'm happy things like this happen after a long week of studying molarity, isometric shapes, and capacitance.
