The kind folks @ The sunday experience and losingtoday.com have taken a listen to our latest messued up offering and gave us a quite frankly fucking funny review of the track!Nice one again Mark!

http://www.myspace.com/thelonelyschizophrenic - if I didn’t know any better I’d be very suspicious that the Lonely Schizophrenics are timing their remixes and new cut uploads to ensure that they get a mention via every dispatched missive mind you a lot of the blame is due in part to our own ineptness given that the previously advertised EP of theirs was in fact due for review in these particular musings but has since somehow managed to free itself of its shackles and go for a wander - the upshot being that a crack squad of reconnaissance mercenaries have been duly detailed to seek and search said AWOL CD so that it can feature on the next Singled Out wing ding. Bet you can’t wait. Anyhow word got back to us that Anto, Aidan and friends - for it is they who are the impishly loveable Lonely Schizophrenics - have been busy whittling away in their wood shed and have cobbled and nailed together a new version of ’I miss me da’ which you may recall us giving the original a much fond mention way back at missive 200 ( http://www.losingtoday.com/tales.php?id=254 ) treated as it was with a pretty smart Irish rover meets ’Good Ship Venus’ groove. This time of asking - and sporting a nifty ’I miss me da - part deux’ moniker - these dudes completely strip the original mix and refit and weld to its hide a rampant and killer spoiler set that frankly could be the blossoming signs of a new punk bluegrass genre. Once the lilting and lulling mists of the lolloping banjos and the occasional dog bark exit stage left this babe fires up in a veritable feast of scuffed up and ferociously snotty nosed good fun which had us here recalling a squabbling after pubs close street fight between the Angelic Upstarts and Sham 69 with the Cockney Rejects standing around holding the leathers - all demented, degenerate and frenzied fun, oi oi terrace chanting and punch drunk pulverised two step chords served up at vomit flying speed - what is there not to love, more more more we say - which in our case will be the singled out.
