Amendment 2 passed in Florida. While this is a huge loss for all fair-minded Floridians, I think it would be a mistake to give up and shut down all the connections and networks we made.

The SayNo2 Campaign has ended- they were a political campaign that is now over. But these social networking pages are free sites run by volunteers and as such can remain active and open as we move forward in our fight in Florida.

And make no mistake; the fight is far from over.

That is why we need to keep these grassroots connections as we figure out how to move forward. Start the discussion here and keep spreading the word. We will need every single one of you and more as we move forward.

As for questions about the campaign, I'm afraid I don't have the answers. I'm just one person who thinks all of the hard work should not go to waste.

Until a hard plan is formed, we'll be changing the name of the pages to "Protect Florida Families"- we will need to defend the domestic partnerships rights and benefits of everyone! T

hanks again for all the hard work you have done and for sticking with it as we go forward!

Read some of my views on what we can learn from the Amendment 2 fight and leave your ideas and thoughts:

Are there any plans to participate in the National Protest Day this Saturday, Nov 15? I live in the Panhandle, too far away to take part in the Miami, Orlando, or Jacksonville protests. If there are any others out there in this area, please contact me so we can make arrangements to be part of the National day of speaking up / speaking out.
