The promoters would lose their ability to negotiate pay-outs wouldn't they? Or, at least their jobs. Alot of clubs I work with, have the promoters and bookers they trust already in the bag.

I'm Bob 33 Drummer and booker for the band, Cast Down The Plague (CDTP). We would like to schedule a show at your venue (The Pearl Room) for sometime in the future with some of your local talent or to open for a national act. We're a professional, energetic, progressive, fast paced Metal band out of South Bend, IN. We're finding it quite difficult to get a good show in Chicago.
