I'm pretty nervous about the next three weeks, for several reasons. I've never been this far away from home, by myself (essentially), for this long. I'm excited, and I'll be with a whole team of teachers and staff, so I won't be alone.

It's funny how people find different things to be excited about for me going to Korea. The people that think they know me are excited for me being surrounded by Korean girls and hooking up and whatnot. The people that know that they know me are excited for me being in a different country, building teaching experience, and learning about culture. While the idea of meeting people certainly crossed my mind, I have to keep my eyes on what's important. However, I should also be open to any new experience or opportunity that comes about.

On NYE, Ryan asked about NY Resolutions that anyone had, and I said, "I want to be more courageous. I want to be bolder about the choices I make, but still being smart about them." Greg nodded and said, "I think that's a great one, and I think lots of people can relate to that." It felt good to know that people in different stages of life can relate to the things I feel I can improve on. In fact...
