tony mahoney, an artist/ film maker/ and suave gent recently approached us about making a video in the style of 'captain pugwash'. ron and i, being irredeemable 'carry on' types, remembered 'seaman stains' and 'roger the cabin boy'. we of course said, whip it out (your camera that is)! 

seeing as we'd done 'uplifting', 'beautiful' and 'ethereal' to death on our last album we thought we'd put forward the darkest most impenetrable descent into the id that we had, 'circa 65'.

captain pugwash indeed tony!!? what you've done is more francis bacon meets george braque rendered in david hockney collage mode circa 85!
