Why won't anyone claim this quote because it sounds like a Yogi-ism (The national icon former Yankee baseball player Yogi Berra). It also sounds like someone in the grasp of the half empty cup syndrome. I could be down beat too right now. I am trying to finish my work competing against an electrical shutdown due to repair work. Yeah for about 15 minutes I was in the grasp of "The Self Defeating Mindset" and then I broke free. And when it happens to you, so can you too break free.

The reality glasses
Just as I have a lot to lose by not finishing, if I don't give it my best, I have no chance. The best part is by going for it and fighting through this wacky race, I can't lose. Many of our problems are like that. All we have to do is put on and look through our reality glasses. The "Woe is me" attitude is for losers. I don't know about you, but I am not a loser and I don't believe you are either.  Any challenge you accept is win or lose. So, there is the 50-50 that quote talks about. Just aim for the finish line and go for it. That's all you can ask of yourself.  And to that point it looks like I made it with time to spare. As I say the choice is yours.
