Hey friends,

Can you believe summer is already over?  Seems like it just got here!  Ali and I finished it off with a super fun week long trip to the beach in Florida with some of our new Nashville friends.  Here was our schedule... wake up whenever you want, eat breakfast, go play volleyball, play in the ocean, eat lunch, more volleyball, pool time, dinner, cards, movies, etc at night... aaaand repeat the whole thing the next day!  A little slice of heaven for sure!


NEW SONGS TO CHECK OUT
 

So what have I been up to?  Lots actually!  Something I've never really done before I came to Nashville is "co-writing".  I've always written songs by myself, (which I'm still doing), but there is something kind of magical about creating music with another person.  It helps you get past the sticking points, have somebody to hang out with, and is genuinely a lot of fun!  If you're interested, I'd love for you to hear some of these new creations...  Just go to:

I'd love to get your thoughts!  Definitely some country tunes mixed in there, but hey... I live in Nashville now!  And I'm from Texas... and I've had the same pair of boots since 10th grade... do I qualify?  Hope so... =)


There's some really cool things happening with these new tunes... nothing official yet, so I don't want to speak to soon, but hopefully it won't be long until I can let you know about some major label artists recording some of these new songs!

 
ON TOUR WITH RASCAL FLATTS

Yes, friends... the above statement is true, but in a little different way...  I'm going to be doing some "text to screen" and contest promotions for Rascal Flatts through a company called Mozes here in Nashville.  When they asked me if I wanted to do a 2 week run on the west coast and Canada on their tour bus, it didn't take me long to say... "heck yes!!!"  I'm sure I'll have lots of updates and pictures from the road in October....

NEW ALBUM & TOUR DATES
 

I'm sorry my concert dates have been a little thin lately.  I've really been hitting it hard on the co-writing and getting established here in Nashville, but I'm tentatively planning on doing a new record in the spring followed up with some touring as well... (subject to change, but that's the plan right now!)
