So I'm just about to pack my last box for my latest move and I have to admit that when the prospect of leaving my cute little set up first came about, I was terrified.  I love what my lifes become this year and I was extremely nervous of tipping the axis with any sort of change.  However in the last couple of weeks the amazing thing called fate has stepped in and reminded me that things do occur for a purpose and I'm finally starting to have faith in that.  With the way 2006 started I didn't have a whole lotta hope for things to come but it's turned out to be a life altering year.  I met really good people that have turned into really good friends and although I don't see them everyday anymore, I know they're there for me and vice versa and that's what true friendship really is.  I reconnected with old friends in North Carolina this summer and honestly had the best vacation of my life, I'll never forget watching that sunrise.  I got promoted within a company I am truely thankful everyday to be a part of and love my job, which I never thought was a possibility.  I took surfing lessons in the Pacific Ocean, I tried snowboarding, I made it to the top of Blowsand on my first attempt and I fell in love.  I found a man who is full of integrity and character, who adds so much to my life and loves me in return completely.  And with him came new family and friends that allow me to honestly be myself without regret.  I learned that giving up my need for control allows life to happen the way it's meant to.  And for the first time in my life, I found myself and didn't try to hide who I found.  This past year has been remarkable and I can't imagine that 2007 can top it, but I'm excited to start it in my new home with my new love and see where fate takes me.
