playing around with book ideas. i used to love to write short stories but then it kind of fizzled out. anyway- tell me what you think!

?Chapter 1?

I always make wrong turns. It's one thing about me that I hate. I could get lost in a place I thought I knew like the back of my hand, just because I took a turn that I wouldn't usually take. What seems like forever ago, I took a wrong turn that turned out to be entirely right. A turn that changed my life forever.

I don't know if you've ever had the feeling I had that day- the feeling of a full tank of gas, with the sun shining into the passenger side window. Cruising at just the right speed so that if you roll down the windows, you can still hear the music coming out of the dash. The feeling of infinity, of being able to drive and never come back, of never knowing exactly where you're going or what you're going to do when you get there. A truly euphoric feeling, where you can't help but smile from the sheer thought of it.
