While I was busy setting up the "back end" -- the behind-the-scene stuff that enables me to make more music -- this blog has reached 4000 views.

Yeah, it's not much, in terms of internet numbers.  You're nobody until you reach, like a million.

But really?  I've been here, for a year now, and 4000 views?  4000 times somebody has been to see this blog on MySpace? 

I dunno, it seems like a pretty big number to me. 

Let's see.  4000 clicks ago, I was living in Texas.  Now I live in Minnesota.

4000 clicks ago, nobody had heard my music.  My player now is close to 2500 plays.  I know, it's not much.  Most of the time, you probably didn't listen.

Or maybe you did.

4000 clicks ago, I was less sure about myself, about what I am doing.

It makes a huge difference, a year. 

Many things didn't go as expected.  Many things went better, and some worse. 

4000 clicks on this blog.  Almost 8000 views of my profile. And counting.

I like things that add up.  Don't you?
