Hey Fish,
I can't thank you enough for your support this month, and for some of you, for the past 4.5 years.  We have hit a crossroads again, it seems, and we will have to shut down our activities at The Inner Change until further notice.

Why?
Because we are afraid that having this show will put you all in danger.  The building has been inspected, and it is out of fire code.  Our security team has been cut off.  We are in a hostile environment.  We desire to glorify God and minister to you.  Inviting you to a show full of danger is not ministering to you or glorifying Him.

We are inviting you, instead, to come at 7 pm and pray and worship with us.  Please bring donations.  The church has to have many expensive improvements in order to be safe for worship or any other functions.  We need to help raise that money.  Please help us.  But if you have nothing, just come pray.  It's free.

We want you to know that we aren't giving up.  We aren't giving in.  We are simply humbly following God's orders for us and not playing into the enemy's hands.  If we all show up in peace, quiet, and prayerful reverence, respectful of our neighbors and our surroundings, then the enemy can't get his foot in the door.  God doesn't need us to prove something for Him, because He has already won.

Hope to see all of you at 7 pm not for a show, but for a kneel.

can't wait for tomorrow night, and to see what God has ahead for the Fish. the decision you and whoever else made, was incredibly honorable. i know it was a struggle and so tough for you to make this decision, but i know God has huge plans in store ahead. huge ones. the enemy never wins. and God will guide you through this. i love you.

Sign from God? Are you serious???  There's a difference in dirty politics and a "sign from God".  Bottom line; there is no sound ordinance in this area.  You had to get the church harassed for fire code issues because no laws are being broken.  You accomplished your goal but it was dirty, filthy politics and abuse of power...not God.

To the lady praying against you!


i just wanted to let u know a few things.  U may hate the fish for whatever reasons i do not know. What i do know is that, that place has done ALOT of good. To you it may look just like a big waste of time and its just satan screamo bands, but to us its our way to enter in to the presence of the world. Don't get me wrong things can get out of hand but would you rather us be at a church protected by not only people on staff but also in gods house or out on the streets causing havic. I just wanted to let you know that because of god the fish changed my life I used to be on drugs and get into so serious trouble but i'm out of all that just because 1 night four years ago. I witnessed god in an environment where people didn't judge me for the things i've done wrong. I got saved that night and i've never been the same. I am now a youth leader at my church the inverness vineyard. I go out and do outreaches. We have 1 halloween if you would like to come see. The point is as much bad as youve think they have caused if they can change just one life and turn them toward god isn't it all worth it?

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT, BUT PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN  YOU HAVE ELDRLY SICK PEOPLE THAT IS BED RIDDEN AND EVEN PEOPLE THAT ARE WELL THEY DONT WANT ALL THAT SCREAMING,,DRUM BANGING LOUD MUSIC IN THEIR EARS , THEY HAVE BEEN ASK TO DO SOMETHING WITH THIS FOR OVER 4 YEARS ,WERE NOT AGAINST PEOPLE BEING SAVED BUT  YOU HAVE TO ADMIT THERE IS ALOT OF BAD STUFF THAT GOES ON OVER THERE. IM GLAD YOU EXCEPTED CHRIST ,AND HAVE CHANGED YOUR LIFE AROUND.

Oh man.

I don't know if I'll be able to make it up there anymore, due to many factors. But there will definitely be tons of prayers going before the Lord down in south Alabama. What happens is what is supposed to happen. And it will all work out for the good of those who serve the LORD.
And The Fish (and all the people who run it) definitely are servants of the Most High.

Is that one comment for real?  They are going to take a kneel to shut you down?  This Venue has done nothing but support the youth of today.  So many kids have been exposed to good wholesome fun because of this venue.  I can't imagine anyone wanting it to be shut down.  For real, twice a month someone has to put up with a little traffic or noise and they can't hang with it?  I just don't understand that.  Everyone is allowed an opinion but I find it very short sighted when someone has a problem with a venue wanting to give kids a safe positive place to enjoy a Friday night.

Our prayers will be with you all at The Fish!!!

Just to comment on what Mike Skelton said. There were no dirty politics involved on our part. There is a state law as you were informed of in the meeting last week. We had nothing to with your fire code issues. That was all on the authorities. If you think back a couple of years, you will remember that we were told that you were going to sound proof the building, which has not been done among other things. You also told me several months back in an e-mail that I should do whatever I felt we needed to do to be heard. The only reason we are at this point is because of the blatant disrespect yall have for the people around you. We are refered to as the enemy. Wow! I guess when you move into a community and think you can do what ever you want, you might want to rethink it next time. I hate that this issue has come to this, but as I stated earlier, yall brought it to this, not us. If you had simply done what you said you were going to do in the beginning and sound proof your building and lower the volume we wouldn't be having this problem.

Well to be quite honest with you I have seen things outside in the parking lot I did not think was to church like,now I know people say well we do have some trouble kids in the group but 100 out of 200 kids isnt some that is alot and for them to rome a community is just wrong,there should have been more security and rules layed down to these kids,I just wonder if some of these parents that sent there kids to "THE FISH" really knew what was really going on,I am one out of maybe 30 people that live around this church and I have had no problems with the sunday meeting nor the wensday meetings but when the weekends roll around you hate to see it coming because of the music and the kids flying down the main road in front on my house,now if the church would have CHURCH there wouldnt be a problem and there hasnt been a problem,I hope the people that is over this church relize that there is more than having loud music to get KIDS to come to church,maybe when gods comes into there heart they will know there ready,I hope all works out ok for the church,WE DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CHURCH,but its been nice not having loud music this past friday,and if the fish does open back up maybe the security will be better and the building will be sound proof,best of luck
