PROMISING POST-HARDCORE PANDEMONIUM FROM BRIT HOPEFULS

Following in the footsteps of Biffy Clyro and Reuben, Birmingham's The Fall, The Rise specialise in combining heartfelt melodies with pulverising post-hardcore crunch. While they occasionally guilty of throwing too many elements into the confines of one song and they have a way to go before reaching the high levels of their peers, but when they do get it right on the monlithic Bite Your Tongue And Walk Away, The Fall, The Rise are a frighteningly good proposition. In Martin Hurley, they have a versatile vocalist whose testicle-inverting screams and butter-wouldn't-melt harmonies will only improve with time and though interlopers is fairly patchy, but there's definitely more to come from these boys.
