It's one of those perfect summer evenings.  It's 21:35 and I can still see remnants of the setting sun on the houses across the road, a pale blue sky ready to bath in darkness.

It's one of those evenings where I should have gone for a walk with my camera and watched the hazy light reflect on car windows and screens.

Instead, I spent the evening changing my mandolin strings; that's like saying I was washing my hair.  Does it really take that long?  No.

I have also spent a good 3 hours listening to Thomas Dybdahl, a wonderful Norwegian artist, instroduced to me by my wonderful Dutch friend.  He has four albums (I have discovered) all rather different from each other.  This means nothing to you unless you are a "downloader" and can therefore explore his back catalogue a little faster and perhaps with more variety.

What I also thought I'd mention, is… photographs.  Feel free to add me if you have a flickr account; I love browsing people's snapshots and moments. (particularly to learn new tricks and such)

I've been thinking.

I've been doubting.

I've been thinking.

Here is some music I recommend:

Andy Stone and his Guitar Creations!

But your mandolin only has 8 strings, my mando guitars have 12 and to make things worse I have to use normal electric guitar strings and bcz the necks so short I end up throwing half of the string away! But then it saves me learning all those new chords!
Will check that link in a tick, I'm an avid music downloader too!
