Hi,
There's so much going on right now. A new release, tour dates, new blog, we're rebuilding a barn, probably more. Oh and I need help booking a show in New Hampshire. Anyone want to help with a show on Aug. 21? Alright!
NEW RELEASE - tiny mtns: (Listen to it in full on My Space now)
The
EP is called tiny mtns (but sometimes I just spell it mtns) and it is 5
songs that were recorded at Jason Rozen's empty house in Andover, MA.
Although It's super lo-fi, it's a departure from Butterfly Needles.
This recording features tons of friends popping in to sing
wonderfully/terribly, banjo, mountain dulcimer, a synth, some
glockenspiel, autoharp of course, toy piano, and other embellishments.
It's more fun and peppy than Butterfly Needles too. You will be able
to buy it at GrindingTapes.org soon.
Rhonda and I are making the packaging now for tiny mtns. The EP
includes a re-recording of Patrick and the Face of Christ (which you
may know from the July Story Songs limited release) as well as four new
songs that you may have heard live. I'll be playing many of the
following shows with a band made up of my supergoodbuddies Jake
Woodruff (Ambitions - RIP) and Samantha Hale.

tiny barn:
Rhonda
and I bought a piece of land in valley in Asheville. It's got a tiny
barn on it that is all sorts of janky. We're going to rebuild it into
an 800 sq. ft. studio space for
Figs & Ginger.
<--That's how Rhonda and I make our living. We hand make ec
friendly jewelry. I'll be posting updates about it on my new blog
elijahwyman.wordpress.com.
Thanks so much for reading this. I really hope that I can see you soon at a show!
Hearts,
-elijah
