I was just sitting here talking to my dog in the high-pitched somewhat daft voice I like to use when we're chatting, and I realised that I have developed quite a few daft pet names for him since we found each other back in late November 2007.
Here's what I started with, and you can see how the pet names evolved.
Rufus Woofus Rufey Rhubarb Ruby Pooface Poo Poo Face Poops Poops McG Lord Poopington
And so it is my poor adorable dog now answers to a strange woman squealing "LORD POOPINGTON!" in his direction. I am clearly an idiot of epic proportions.
