State of the Planet. October 1, 2002.
Hello All,
ROCKTOBER!
Football games. Orange leaves and red. Foggy mornings replace foggy
windows on any lover's lane. Everybody needs loveand on and onand
nights are forever without you.
Cool breeze and cold fingers on new strings around a campfire. Old
friends and new songs. Old songs and new friends. Eyes drawn to find
what never happens until just around dawn. Sorry you missed it and
you should've been there ring like church bells on Sunday morning.
Long slow tones that last until November and Terlingua and never fail
to remind you of what you might have seen had you just crossed some
fading line in the sand. Hold on to these things we call our own.
They are castles at high tide. Lashed by oceans of the unwashed. They
will fall if unattended.
