What's up, you crazy fuckers? Thanks for checking in on us. I haven't "blogged" in a while, and I've been feeling blogually frustrated so I finally broke down, and decided to get back on it. Well, here goes, here's an update. We toured like crazy last year. We released a new CD. We ate lots of sushi on the road. We looked at great porn. We met tons of great people and played with some great bands. It was a very good year. It's pretty cool when you get to do something that you've always dreamed about since you were a kid! Well, in the midst of all of the good, it's hard not to have some bad here and there. The bad for us was that everybody got a little burnt out from touring so much, and not really making tons of money doing it. Also, we had a couple of opportunities that looked promising, but in the end they fell through. Those things can knock a little wind out of your sails. I'm not saying that you're supposed to lay down and die, but it can slow you down a bit. At any rate, we slowed down a bit, and it's kind of weird. We've only played a handful of shows since September, and I had really gotten used to a non-stop, let's go do it again kind of schedule. The craziest part of it is that we released our best album to date, and part of me feels like we should be out there killin' it every night, in order to spread the gospel, so to speak. Well, I'm not sure when that will be happening right now, but I can assure you that we will hit the road again, I just can't give you an exact date. In the meantime, we will be playing some select shows around Denver.
On a personal note, for those of you who don't already know, I got married last year, and my amazing wife, Kate, and I are going to have a little boy in March! Holy shit, I'm gonna be a dad. The scarier thing is that Tony's gonna be an uncle. I'll post some pics as soon as the little devil gets here. I've also started working on some solo stuff. It's a bit different than what I do with Jett Black, and I'm hoping to do something with it soon. I love Jett Black, and plan to continue on with it, I'm just looking for something that will be fun on the side. I'll keep you posted on that.
Lastly, I want to say thanks to Bart, Igor, and Tony for doin' this crazy shit with me. Especially to Tony, or T-Bag as I like to call him. We've been in this thing together since day one. Who the hell would have ever thought you and I would be here now, still doing this? Love ya', brother!
