Some things I remembered when in Beaverton this last week-

When push mowing on a hill- always mow across the slope, not up and down it, so as to avoid losing toes.

Check the oil!

Mosquitos aren't bad when it's dry but the black flies don't care.

If you find a baby animal, leave it where it is, do not pick it up, no matter how cute it is- it's Mother might back for it.

Don't wear punk-rock/ hipster/ bohemian attire to a redneck bar.

Don't throw lit ciggarette butts out of the car window or on the lawn- you could start a fire.

Avoid discussing religion/ politics/ current events or anything important with anyone- talk about the weather, fishing or trucks instead. Save your energy!
