I don't know if you all know, but April, Phil and I are 3 of 8 children in our family. The oldest is Andy who has a church in North Carolina called World Overcomers Christian Church. And he requested that we come and sing at his Eyes of Faith conference.

My brother Andy has one daughter and 3 triplet sons. So of course, i LOVE going to North Carolina if only just to see them. My nephews are the sweetest boys in the entire world and I love fishing with them at the lake in their back yard. My neice Kayla is seriously the coolest 13 year old i know. We had the BEST time while I was there. Watched So you think you can dance, went to the movies and saw Journey to the Center of the Earth, and shopped till we dropped. We had so much fun!! Sigh, I LOVE my family.

The conference was Wednesday-Friday and every night we sang 2 songs before the minister spoke. By the end of the week we had completely sold out of everything and 35 World Vision children had been sponsored. It was a successful trip and wonderful conference.

The next gig was in Washington DC. First we sang at Union Temple Baptist Church which was interesting to say the least. The church was very afrocentric, and some of the symbols and pictures were... interesting. But the word was there. And the Pastor's daughter who preached had a very good word. The sound was great and we sold good too.

We piled in the car I napped while we drove about 45 minutes to Baltimore to sing at Jamal Bryant's church. The building was very large, and very beautiful. The sound was great, we sold out of all we had. The worship leader there, who is an artist himself, was blown away by us and talked to us for about an hour after we were finished at the table selling. Really nice people.

After such a long run, we were ready to go home. We got to the airport and guess what? Our flight was delayed and then about 3 hours later, they cancelled it altogether. We had to scrounge and find a hotel room for the night and thank God we did, or we would've been sleeping on the floor in the airport. It's time like these that make me really miss the tour bus. If there's a storm, it's ok, just pull the bus over and we can still sleep nice and cozily without worrying about anything. Sigh, i really miss the bus...

Next up, Brooklyn Tabernacle...

Love you all,

Deborah Bullock from AH
