Current mood: busy Category: Friends
Some of you may know that Lynn, Jared and myself Graduated from the Eastman School of Music... What you may not know is what went on during our time there...
I used to hang with a dear friend of ours named Greg Bauch a.k.a. Dr. Bauch (pronounced Bow; in German it means Beer Belly- and for good reason). The Dr. and I would attend a great Bible study in which he led on Thursday nights at our friend Ike's apartment (Ike was the head RA at the dorms). Good times, and lots of laughs (I think God has the best sense of humor!) Immediately following the Bible study, Bauch and I would run out from the dorms, and get started on Thirsty Thursdays, grabbing anyone from school who wanted in. We'd head to our absolute favortie Rochester spot- VERTEX. Vertex is an amazing Goth club located two blocks from the Eastman Dorms. We were regulars there. You could point us out with your eyes closed. We'd be the ones not wearing black among the chained Gothites on the dance floor. That's another story. I digress. After Vertex, we might go to Lux on South Ave. for a wicked round of pool and cheap beer (Stella's for $3??!). Following these regular thirsty thursday stops, we'd always end up at Mark's for a nightcap Sloppy plate. When in Rome, my friends. When in Rome. Here's where it gets good, and where we involve Lynn. Ya see, Lynn is my sister from another mother. Lynn happened to live right down the street from the dorms with Sara, and Chappell. MEH! Back then, I really didn't have any scruples, and neither did Bauch. We were havin a high time. Along the way back from Mark's one night we decided to pick up a construction cone from the street and leave a little present on the doorstep of Lynn and co. It wasn't very big, but it was bold. GOOD MORNING! MiWi and Bauch were here. Like a "Sorry we missed you" note. ... ... HAHAHAHA laughs lynn, and sara and chappell. ... Needless to say, this became a weekly tradition for us boys. The small construction cones turned into BIG, muddy construction Barrels with the blinking lights in their kitchen (while I was sleeping over upstairs!!!), Tires in the doorway, Bicycles on Beds, and on and on. Every week. In the words of Lynn, "What an ASS!" To Lynn's credit, we still love each other, she didn't kill me and Bauch, and she even laughs when she tells the stories today. ASK HER! Thought you might like to know more about where this family called Thought is coming from... Take care! Be good, unless it'll make for Hilarious stories in the future... I guess.
MEH! Much Love, MiWi
