Hello all. Long time no see.

Just a couple of quick notes you may or may not care about:

Twelve years ago this week, Texas is the Reason went to Boston and recorded the 3-song demo that became our 3-song EP. Wow.

Eleven years ago, today, Texas is the Reason played a show in Garrett's hometown of Buffalo, opening for our good friends in Snapcase. This morning, when we looked in our MySpace Inbox, Brandon wrote in to say that he has uploaded and posted a video of the show to his new weblog. It's worth a link:

Also worth nothing: Do You Know Who You Are? came out that week. Eleven years ago, this week.

Finally, our talented friend and artist Jesse Ledoux — the man who designed the limited edition silkscreen commemorative posters for our 10-year-anniversary weekend in November — has put the final copies of the poster on sale. These are coming from his own personal stash. So if you missed out on buying one from our merch site, This is your last chance.

I first learned of you music in 1997 or so. I was going through a terrible time personally, but 'Do You Know Who You Are?" and the 3-song EP carried me through. You guys meant more to us than you could ever know.

Seriously i discover Texas is the Reason back in 97 after picking up The Samiam Split.
At the time in my naiveity i thought it was just a samiam album titled texas is the reason, then i figured what id bought, i still listen to that cd at least once a month, and the live songs on that are better than the studio album. Thank you for producing something which means so much to me. UK reunion show is now all that is needed. Lifetime did it, come on over...

My husband and I have been married 9 years and together coming up on 13 years ... our first "Date" was to see you guys play in a tiny hole-in-the-wall bar in Chapel Hill, NC ~ nice to know you're still kickin' it like we are.
