So this week I decided to ask the guys on craigslist a really crazy question. And of course guys being guys decided to chat me up because of it. I must have gotten over 100 responses wanting to talk to me more about the subject. I ask you this is it okay to go on a dating section of a site to ask men questions about things that would relate in a dating context? I think so. I mean it was like going into a bar and asking men what they thought about something. Yes you're going to get hit on along the way but it doesn't make going in there any less valid. I got flagged eventually. Probably by some guy that sent me a picture and I wasn't interested but that's no nevermind.
I have to say taht I love talking about a lot of inappropriate things at times. But me and my friends have debates about things some weeks and I just have to go beyond my circle to find new answers and perspectives. Also a buddy of mine finally got around to telling me this story he's been dying to tell me and I can't even tell you how happy he is abotu having so many dirty stories to tell. I am shocked and amazed at how some of the guys I know are when they are really honest about everything. The messes they get into, the men or women they see, the flings, the relationships, the one night stands. Really what are men thinking?
I love how a lot of them seem to be thinking about what they are doing after the fact and say man that was dirty. I shouldn't have done that.
And married men, why do they bother single women all of the time? I won't ask why they bother single men b/c I have more than a few answers there. But what does any decent single woman especially like me who isn't going to sleep with them want to be bothered with them for? There's always something very gross about that for me. I complain b/c married men have approached me this week.
Let's see another year of really not liking the whole Christmas thing. I mean I've changed religions and in general have never liked it. Just never a fan. I also always manage to get sick around this time of the year. And that is where I am now.
My grandmother is sick and int he hospital and she flatlined yesterday. I know you wonder why I didn't mention this first but we don't have that close relationship. I'm honestly more worried about my mom than my grandmother. If it is her time then it will be. My mom is hoping. As she should that is her mother even when someone is mean to you, your whole life I guess with parents you still dont want to see them go. And I understand that. But my mom always says that when it's your time it's your time. We'll see. She's in ICU now. I'm sick and am basically staying away from over there. Besides that I'm bad in hospitals. I'm much more the call the ppl that are there and ask them how the person is girl.
Now that my mom is talking again and giggling again I know that she is feeling better than she was and is coming to terms with what might be coming.
My recital is looming over my head. It is only two weeks away from today. That reminds me I need a new dress. I've also almost completely memorized my role for next summer. Keep your fingers crossed that I raise enough money to go though.
I'm getting back into the groove of working at home again. It's cool. I like it especially when I have migraines and can just lay down in the middle of the day.
Oh and I went and hung out with my voice teacher the other day which was weird. I told her about my time at CU and gave her a glimpse of how things were with my teacher there. And gave her a better sense of all of my music training. Though she has offered me a chance to teach next semester so we'll see.
That's all I've got right now. That's my week in rant.
