Dear Music Lover - 

I am a singer/student at Saltnote Studio and have recently auditioned for and been accepted into a very prestigious summer program for emerging artists with the International Lyric Academy in Rome and Viterbo (ILA) this July. 

The ILA provides a unique opportunity for students and emerging artists. During an intensive month, the other students and I will receive professional coaching and voice lessons, and participate in a full range of classes, master classes, concerts, recitals and rehearsals, all culminating in seven fully staged performances of "LE NOZZE DI FIGARO" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the New Operafestival di Roma Symphony Orchestra as well as performances of  "LA BOHEME", "TOSCA" and "MADAMA BUTTERFLY" by Giacomo Puccini, and "LA TRAVIATA" and "RIGOLETTO" by Giuseppe Verdi.  

I am delighted to have the opportunity to be part of such an illustrious program and hope that you will consider partnering with me in my musical endeavors.  Would you please consider being a patron of the arts?  

You can do this in several ways:

1. Attend our fundraising concert April 28, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at Riverdale Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, MD.  Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased from any of the participants or reserved online at www.saltnote.com or by calling (301) 632-5530;

2. Purchase a business card advertisement in our concert program. Ads are available for $25 (quarter page) $50 (half page) and $100 (full page).  Original artwork must be received by April  1, 2007 at the studio address above or be         e-mailed to music@saltnote.com. We can either use your existing artwork or design your ad for you.

3. Make a tax-deductible donation towards the ILA education program.

PATRONS

All gifts and program advertisements towards ILA are tax-deductible. Checks should be made out to Saltnote Studio. Please note ILA on your memo as well as the name of the student you are sponsoring. You will be given a receipt.
