Hello Friends-

It's been far too long since we've spoken to all of you, and even longer since we've seen most of you. We've all been incredibly busy over the past several months, and we've had the privilege of seeing lots of beautiful places, meeting tons of wonderful people, and being a part of some tremendous events and ministries.
However, we needed to let you all know about some pretty massive news in the world of TVFH.

It is with great sadness that we make the following announcement: The View From Here will be playing our last show with Jon this Friday, July 13th, at the Garage (one of our very favorite venues) in Wheat Ridge.
Jon and his wife Amy have been given the amazing opportunity to move to Portland, Oregon, and they will be leaving Denver at the beginning of August. We are extremely happy for Jon and Amy, and know this is an exciting new chapter for them. But we will all miss them like crazy, and needless to say, Jon's departure will have a huge impact on the band.

How huge? Well, we're not really sure yet. The future remains quite uncertain.
We still are planning to play at a Youth For Christ retreat in a couple weeks, and to lead worship at several retreats this fall/winter... but other than that, we will not be playing very many shows for a while, as we all try to figure out what God's will is for each of us, and for the band.

So, if you don't have plans this weekend... we'd LOVE to see you at the Garage this Friday night. Come and help us send Jon and Amy off to Oregon!
