this is a very special show! 2 of my favourite bands will be joining us:
1. opening the evening will be the
Versatones. this is an
incredible band that plays all your favourite British Invasion songs from the 60s. playing guitar for the Versatones is
Chris Solberg, a hero of mine who has toured with Santana and played on millions of hits (Chris Isaac's Wicked Game, for example). don't miss this opening band who is too good to open for us, but is gracious enough to humour us!
2.
BRAY will play second. if you happened to miss the cd release party at the Independent, make
sure to come to this show. the band is just ridiculous now..... plus you still need to
get your copy of our NEW ALBUM - @mphibian! (also available at braymusic.com/store)
3. closing the evening will be the
Punk Funk Mob. this is a very special occasion because the band is led by
my best friend since age 5! --- the very talented Quincy Ramone. PFM is his new project which is getting all kinds of label interest. Fronting the band is
the amazing Femi! a recording artist in her own right, Femi has the power and presence of the funk/rock/soul greats that inspired us both.
