MAKE A LIST OF 10 THINGS YOU NEED AT A MUSIC FESTIVAL WHEN CAMPING.

(tickets do not count as essentials, nor do tents, sleeping bags, or money as most people tend to have them :P)

Here's mine:-

1. Bog Roll - if there is one thing that you cannot live without it's a toilet roll, NEVER trust the festivals to provide you with decent wiping material. YOUR BOG ROLL IS YOUR LIFE!
2. Alcohol/Illicit substances - I think weed is essential at a festival to increase sensitivity to the music or relax you in the evenings but do not get stoned out of your face. It is also suggested that you take some form of Alcohol (if you wish) but try not to drink on an empty stomach otherwise you will get absolutely wasted.

3. Black Bags - If it's raining you are gonna want to stay dry but instead of wearing a poncho or a big coat jsut slip on a plastic bag.
4. Stove - you need some form of cooking equipment to heat up a late night snack or a kettle of water. BBQ's also come in handy but make sure your meat is fresh.
5. Footwear for all occasions - wellies aren't the most comfortable things but can be necessary. Also have a pair of trainers/converse to hand incase the weather is good and you want to let your feet breathe.
6. Change of Underwear - Let's face it, when you go to a music festival you don't really plan on cleaning yourself too much, but it's still important to have a fresh pair of underwear. Dry socks are also essential and allow for 2 pairs per day.
7. Baby Wipes and Deodourant - Okay so we know we probbaly know that your hygiene is gonna be absolutely crap for a few days but you are still gonna want to feel fresh even if your hair has gone all greasy. Deodourant is advisable - preferably and anti-persepirant so NO LYNX - you want something good and solid. I reccomend SURE and SURE for MEN.
8. Toothbrush and Toothpaste - We all know that you are gonna end up with dog breath every morning especially if you've been eating bad food, drinking alot or have indeed PUKED the night before. Remember to freshen your breath! This also comes in handy when trying to pull a member of the opposite sex - nobody wants to kiss someone with bad breath and furry teeth!
9. Condoms - Assuming you have been lucky enough to pull (unless you have come prepared with your gf/bf) you are probably gonna aim for some festival fun and you don't know who else these people have slept with and what kind of things they could have caught so remember - SAFE SEX! :XD:
10. An MP3 player or battery powered radio - You can never have enough music so take one of these along to carry on teh party through the night. Keep your mp3 player with you at all times though.
