Alright, so maybe you have heard, maybe you havent, but my life is about to change drastically...Graduating is less than two weeks away, and I was offered a job in Smithers! I'm going to be the mid day host and music director..yeah, programming the music for Smithers! You can only imagine I'll be attemtping to turn the entire town into a bunch of U2 fans! I have more or less been on an emotional rollercoster since, leaving my 26 years of life, family and friends is a little overwhelming for this girl!
Learn a little bit about my new home town!
I didn't realize, until it sunk in that I am leaving, that I pretty much grew up in an amazing city, with the best friends in the world....yes, I'm going to be sentimental for the next month!! So, if your reading this, I appreciate you, and want to see you before I go!
Next order of business....if your thinking to yourself, gee I have some holiday time, where should I go? Umm....let me suggest, Smithers! I promise I'll be a great host, and show you the best Smithers has to offer!! I could go on and on, it seems I want to blog about how much I'm going to miss my family, friends, and great roommate I have had for so long.. The roommate, who was always willing to go along with whatever crazy scheme or idea I dreamt up
If your reading this, you have probably had some impact on my life, and I thank you hugely on that, as I head out into the unknown! There will be photo blogs of life in Smithers, and my attempts to make everyone in Smithers realise U2 is the BEST band in the world. Also, checking out the Smithers tourism website, it looks ike there is TONS of outdoor stuff to do, so be watching for skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, mountain biking, ATVing, and who knows what else via a blog...

...oh and I'm sure your phones will be ringing when I get homesick, and a need a little does of Victoria!!!

So lets get together in the next couple weekks, I want to soak up the best of Victoria until I go!!
