hey everyone! thanks for checking in. Now that I'm settled into my new position as contemporary worship leader at North Lake Presbyterian church, I can get back to writing and recording new music.

I dig it here. The people are wonderful. I'm playing alot. I have lots of gigs of all different kinds, everything from church concerts to club work. It sure feels great to be playing so much. When you are a producer, you don't get to do that much. You spend most of your time in front of a computer, or coaching other artists. I love to work with other artists, but I think I was out of balance... I sure do like to entertain, and see people smiling!

I have about 25 new songs to record. Mostly acoustic fare... Dylan, Paul Simon, Randy Newman kind of vibe. So I'll be finishing up a new cd this month. Title isn't in stone yet, but the songs are.

I started this recording up in Nebraska at my good friend Rob Higgins's studio. I was on a road trip, and stopped in to see him for a couple of days. We tracked a couple of my new musings, and it went so well I decided to write more and eventually go back to finish a whole cd on that direction.

well, I've got more than a full cd's worth of tunes to do. We'll get to it in a few weeks.
