For those that don't know the HipHop Coalition started a campaign called "HipHop For Barack" a while back and we started out registering voters and hosting phone banking parties to help Senator Obama win his primary election. Now that Senator Obama is the candidate of choice, we as the HipHop Generation must do our part to see to it that he gets elected into the office of President. For years Detroit has held down Michigan as a democratic state and for years West Michigan has not done it's fair share when it comes to electing people to office that will represent our best interest. In this Presidential election, which just happens to be the most important Presidential election of our lifetime, Our voice is required, "Michigan is a state that Senator Obama must win" as stated by his own campaign in order for him to become President of The United States Of America. We all know that these dirty rats out here will stop short of nothing to see that Senator Obama doesn't become our next President But We Mustn't allow them a victory, For Once We must put our foot on their necks and apply Pressure.We the people that seek justice,freedom and equality, US! the downtrodden, overlooked, often voiceless, often defeated, homeless in our own homes, lost children, felons, We must take this opportunity to speak out and let our voice be heard. We must come together to win Michigan and to insure that Senator Obama becomes The Next President Of These United States.
