Do you want to know from where your visitors are coming ?
STATCOUNTER.COM provides a cool and invisible counter that shows
the Country , the State and the City of where they come from .
More : this counter also shows the length of the visit when
they are on your page . I recommend it .

SET UP : Go to STATCOUNTER.COM and register an account :


( Remember : never use the same password that you use to MySpace in other sites )


After registration , click the arrow to continue ...

You can add lots of projects always you login . Each project is an especific counter
for an especific page . It's great if you have other sites running . Cool feature !




Give a name for your project on 'Website Title' field and type your MySpace URL :



Click 'Next' and the arrow to continue ...





Choose the INVISIBLE COUNTER option and click 'Next' :






Be sure that 'myspace' option is selected and click 'Next' :





Copy the code generated and go to your MySpace account ...
Note that the server will email your code but I suggest you to copy it on the own StatCounter page .





ONCE LOGGED ON MYSPACE :
Click 'Edit Profile' and  'Musician Details' .
You can paste the code on the 'Bio' or on the 'Influences' field .
I use my code on the end of the 'Influences' field :


Paste it and click 'Preview' .. you will not see the counter because it is invisible .
So click 'Submit' to continue . Done . You counter is running .

( If your profile isn't a music profile , paste the code on the 'About Me' field )





TO CHECK YOUR STATS :
Login on STATCOUNTER.COM and click your project name :




At this moment and for some reason you can't check all the full features on
the menu  when using a counter for a MySpace account . But you have goodies .
You can check the Visit Length and Country/State/City/ISP of your visitors :



Let's check the Country/State/City/ISP option on the menu ...
Click the black arrow to see more details :


You'll see the IP of your visitor but you can see much more
you'll see when click the magnifying glass beside an IP number :




As you see below , you can check from where your visitor comes .
The Country/State/City stats are cool references
to know more about how is going your work  .
"Thinking on the people there ........... How are the speakers sounding me ? The place .. the room ..
all around ... on that Country ......... that flag .. those colors .. that people .. it's very good !"



You can create a new project just for your blog also .
Follow the same steps and generate a new code .
When posting , open the HTML mode and paste it there .
