WHEELER STREET ON THE RADIO
You can hear members of the band on BBC Radio Kent on the next two Sunday evenings. This week Ben and Jonny are being interviewed on the Simon Evans' Folk Show and Simon will be playing 4 tracks from Roodumdah. So that's this Sunday 15th at 9PM Kent Folk. If you are not local to Radio Kent you can of course listen online and for up to 7 days afterwards on iPlayer.
The following week Toby, Sophy and Pete will be chatting live on the Kent BBC Introducing show which is the slot before Simon and starts at 8PM.
We have been getting some more great reviews for Roodumdah, The Independant called it an "invigorating debut" and listed Wheeler Street's date at Kendall last night as one of the Ten Best Gigs of the week. The reviewer for the magazine Folk Diary said "one of the most exciting folk albums I have heard for some time".
