As a lot of you guys know, I have been filming an Independent, feature length film about the coming of age of a gay boy into a Drag Queen. Acting is something that I've always dreamed of doing. I've dedicated nearly all of my energy for the last couple of months to this project. Yes, my working energy and believe it or not my party energy...well about 95%, teehee. This weekend is our final weekend of shooting. This weekend also happens to be the best chance for you to be in this film. As you know we are in the midst of filming "The Rise and Fall Of Jeremy Starr", an INDY film that I have written and am in the process of directing.
We wrap up filming this weekend with our club scenes filmed at "DIVA'S" located at 1081 Post St. (at Polk) and I am putting out a call for extras.
Here are the stats; we shoot,
Saturday, Oct. 18 th, 12 to about 5 pm, need about a dozen extras
(scenes around bar area)
Sunday, Oct. 19 th, 12 to about 6 pm, need about 25 extras
(scenes involving full dance club)
Extras are asked to bring a couple of different tops if possible as we are shooting multiple scenes each day.
This is a non-paying gig but extras will be asked to sign release forms to receive credit in the movie, the bar will be open to purchase drinks and lunch will be supplied and I promise to make it fun.
As we will be shooting multiple scenes if someone can come for either the first or second half of the day they can still be helpful.
