Current mood:  nostalgic
I hate blogs.  And yet and still, I'm writing one.  Well, I'm not dead.  And no, I'm not pretending to be dead.  Truth is, I've been working on finding free time and working on finding myself lately.  Life threw me a few curves.  But as life often teaches, thru discomfort and struggle you tend to learn more about yourself.

I am quietly working on music in the labratory.  I'm also learning Final Cut Pro 6 and Motion to finish a little something for the cause.  I ripped my myspace and album one tracks down because I was tired of a dated image of what I'm all about.  In working on all of the potential album two tracks over time, I've come to the realization that my sluggishness is partially due to my stubbornness not to adapt to a more dynamic range of design elements... be them styles of vocals, hip hop percussive tactics, etc... and involve some of my other favorite genres of music into the development stages.

Truth is, I work one biotch of a day job.  It absolutely kicks my ass on a daily basis.  And it's really hard to follow your passion of writing music when you get home everyday dead tired from the grind.  Over the years, my alignment of priorities in my life has strayed me away from some old friends -- not all of the disconnects my fault, but sometimes such is the price for necessary self-development of goals and aspirations.  I respect that in the next individual as much as I hope that most respect the same of me.

Slight overdramatization aside, I look forward to living life AFTER album two, and to tell you the truth, that's about as much motivation as any as of lately.  At this point I'm considering things like hanging by my legs from trees upside down  to get in fresh mindsets for material.  On some monkey business for sure.

Hey and a great big thank you assholes that couldn't deal with me not having a myspace picture up and then dropping me from your top friends lists.  That's damned snobby.  Gonna start charging monthly membership dues to view your page soon?  Maybe offer a gold annual plan for bargain.  Probably doesn't include access to your blog entries either; that's an additional fee, eh?  Love you too; I answered messages back....

So yea, I'ma post some bulletins with some new material for people to check out.  Fair warning; I'm finding that I like yelling and screaming in tracks a lot more.  :)  Everything for a purpose, whether we know the purpose or not.....

ST8

ps, shoutouts to all of my old and new friends in the music....
