What is the MadeAvail Resistance?

OUR EARTH:
World recession. Job cuts. Natural disasters. Wars and rumors of wars. Even child slavery for crying out loud! Our futures have never been so uncertain. Look around at the faces of your friend's and family. We are living in extraordinary times. So what can we do?

Growing up we've all heard 'two heads are better than one'.
madeAVAIL wants to expound on that. If you know our music, you know the message behind our songs..If you have ever sat down and talked with any of us, you know our hearts.
We want to make a difference in our world. Our message is hope. The world can be falling down around you, but you are not alone, their is unity in our faith, and strength in our numbers.
And this is where you come in...

How did the RESISTANCE start?
The resistance started out with our 'Prove it' campaign. Fans of the band madeAVAIL who began publicly showing their support for the band and it's message of the importance of who we are as individuals and in the hope of which are songs reflect.

OUR GOALS:
If you are already part of the brotherhood of madeAVAIL, you know we are a family and that we genuinely care and love one another in that family. But what good is that love if we keep it contained?

-At one twitter text we want to be able to call in a flashmob to help someone out- charity, clean up a park, pass out water bottles on a hot day, whatever. When people ask what we're doing we hand them a card or sticker with our RESISTANCE symbol and a site where they can become a part of this movement. Then blog about it and encourage people in other cities to join us. We want to become a movement

- We want to start a YouTube campaign where members of the Resistance prove it on camera and then challenge others to do the same with links at the end of the video on how they can become part of the RESISTANCE and prove it!

- We want an army of people ready at a word, who are gonna say enough is enough! We are tired of living our day to day self-serving lives and prove that will can make a difference. Sound corny? Not to us! We have chosen to resist the acceptance of a normal life, we have chosen to resist those who say one person can't make a difference. We have chosen to resist worry and hopelessness, while creating music that speaks hope and encourages love. We are not just a band, we are a movement, a brotherhood of dreamers. We are world changers. We are the resistance. We are madeAVAIL


WHAT NOW?
Although our dreams our big our numbers are small (for now)
so we need you! We need people who can help us in ANY way, shape, or form! Anyone who proves it! You helped birth this idea and we need you to keep doing what you do! We need writers and bloggers to help us start getting the word out. We need graphic designers who can help us with flyers, web, and any other graphic related needs. We need photographers and videographers who will capture people in action of proving it. Basically, If this sounds like something you're interested in becoming a party of we need you! No talent is too small.
