It's late, and I felt like throwing something on here, though not terribly detailed due to still only being able to access MySpace via phone.

So here's a random list of things that I simply do not understand the appeal and/or popularity of:

Zombies/zombie movies
Labyrinth
Dark Crystal
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Back to the Future
Quentin Tarantino
Mindless Self Indulgence
District 9
Nirvana
Star Trek
Chuck Norris
System of a Down
Korn, post Untouchables
Guns n' Roses
Queen (Freddie Mercury = amazing though)
Ozzy Osbourne
Black Sabbath (I respect their innovation and place in history though)
Dave Mustaine (amazing musician, but confused, bitter, contradictory prick of a human being...seriously, try talking to and posting on the man's forums for a decade)
KISS
Kottonmouth Kings, other than High Society and Rollin' Stoned
Thriller, song + music video (great album overall though)
Metalocalypse
Dethklok
Anime
Adult Swim
Enjoy the Silence (yes, Depeche Mode is my God, but this is quite seriously one of their lesser songs)
The Metal Gear Solid series
Halo
Rock Band
Guitar Hero
World of Warcraft
Nintendo Wii
Family Guy
Futurama
Eggs
Ham
Lord of the Rings
Any Batman film other than the last two
Jack Nicholson as the Joker
Tim Burton
Nightmare Before Christmas
Coraline
Most fantasy books of the dragons/elves/epic quest variety
Most sci-fi books of the space/time travel variety
Dane Cook
Will Ferrell
SNL, any era
Donnie Darko
New Bond films
Anything Rob Zombie has done since Hellbilly Deluxe, be it music/films/comics or otherwise
The Holocaust (The Spanish did mass genocide more efficiently)
Lady Gaga

...

I think that's enough for the moment; I'm sure that's enough to drive several people to heart attacks anyway.

I now open the forum to all of you so that you can tell me how much I suck, question my credibility and rip my opinions apart.

Have fun and you're welcome. :)

:o srsly? i think my heart just broke alil. You hold issue with 'Back to the Future'? It must be it's epicness that offends. . . . Say what you will about Wii and Adult Swim but you leave Mr. Fox alone!!

I actually think Michael J. Fox is great, I just couldn't ever get into Back to the Future specifically.

I agree with you on the whole fantasy/ sci fiction craze. Not my deal. But 'Back to the Future' wasn't shy about what it was. It totally embraced and lovingly poked fun at the absurdity of it's own plot line. What I love about the movie is the relationships, both between the characters and between the sequels.

To each their own, I suppose.

I laughed as I was reading this because I am a fan of about 90% of your list. What issue could you have with Futurama and Chuck Norris?

Hugs,
C

Kind of tickled that you included the Holocaust on this list.

I like maybe 24/53 things on there.

Well now my feathers are ruffled! I freaking Love Love Love eggs, they are a wonder source of protein and are good in breads, cakes, pies. And great boiled, scrambled or fried in cooking spray. After a wonderful afternoon of L.A.R.P'ing I like to eat eggs with my dragon and jam out some Queen. Girls like me make the rocking world go round...

I was in love with Marty McFly as a child. ^^
I only really agree with Enjoy The Silence. It's a cute song and all, but certainly not my favourite.
I love Back To The Future, Quentin Tarantino movies, Mindless Self Indulgence, Nirvana, Korn, Guitar Hero, Family Guy, Dane Cook and Donnie Darko. Couldn't care less for the rest. Especially Enjoy the Silence. And DM also is my God! xD
