Starting June 9th at 7pm, I will be hosting FREE Ableton Live 8 workshops at the Downtown Independent located on 2nd and Main in downtown Los Angeles.
These workshops will happen every other Tuesday of the month and will primarily focus on beatmaking, sample manipulation, editing, arranging, and live performance using Live 8.
The first workshop of the month (June 9th) will be an introductory course explaining the differences between Live and programs like ProTools, Logic, Cubase, etc., and will provide the user with a fundamental understanding of the numerous ways this revolutionary software can be used.
The second workshop of the month (June 23rd) will be more focused on a specific topic. On this day in particular we will delve further into the arrangement window, more advanced editing, and automation.
For anyone who is already using Live, curious about the software, or just interested in learning how to create electronic music, this is a great opportunity to learn from someone who's been using the software professionally for several years. And best of all, it's FREE! Check out the flyer, spread the word, and come on down!
