Anyone who knows us at all knows that we have no closer bond than the one we have had over the past 4 years with our friends in 7 Blue Skies. We have played countless shows together, and have spent many late nights, early mornings, birthday parties, poker games, cook-outs, holidays, and road trips together, and laughing our fool asses off with them all along the way.
In many ways, they have been quietly responsible for much that we have learned since we started Traverser, sharing experience, connections, equipment, resources and opportunities whenever they could.
The book has peacefully closed for 7 Blue Skies, and although we are deeply nostalgic about the times we have shared as an alliance of two bands, we can also say that we have been close to them as it ended, and that there was absolutely no drama in it's closing. In fact as far as this group of friends is concerned, it's been business as usual, hanging out, going to shows, and working on this years free haunted house, which is three years running.
Because of all of this, we felt it appropriate to re-post their blog announcing the official end of 7 Blue Skies here on ours.

There has never been a great way to announce the disbanding of a group. However, in the following paragraphs we shall try our best.
Let us begin by saying, we are proud to have spent the last 6 years creating music and memories with each other and all of you. The love and support of friends and family have always driven this band to new and exciting places. To all of you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Now, concerning the question of "why? The decision was made quietly and unanimously to write a respectable ending to one of the biggest chapters in all of our lives so far. We truly loved to share in the making of music that we considered to be creative and relevant. If you know us on any kind of personal level, you know that every one of us has nothing but the deepest love and respect for one another. Truly a band of brothers.
We will be posting 3 new and previously unreleased songs to this page including "Fishbowl", "Nights" and "Hardcore Reggae" for you to download. These songs were often played live but completely unreleased in a recorded version. There are also discussions of a final show and as more details come up we will post them here.
Lastly, with our deepest gratitude, thank you.
