Zydefunk,
Looking to throw parents their 35th wedding anniversary party on Jan. 13, 2007.  We are originally from Lafayette, La. and will have tons of people coming from their to the party.  Your music would be perfect (trust me, the dance floor will not be empty:))I received your name from a friend of mine Bob Hewitt of 89.3FM who highly recommended you.  Look forward to hearing from you.

So much to do in TAMPA and the SuperBowl is here this year!! So many things for Zydefunk to do and to play! We know enough people and have plenty of avenues to get a large audience being in one of the OVER 100 Krewes in Tampa Bay!

I used to live in ATL and met you, Charlie, through a friend who took bass lessons from you for some time back in '01 or '02.
We would come to watch you play at the Front Page in Midtown and at Northside Tavern very often.
I miss watching you, Jody and Mark play!!!

I moved to Tampa a few years ago and saw that Zydefunk played at the Dunedin Festival a while back, but I wasn't here at that time.
There are TONS of great places in Tampa to play and would love to see you visit our way some time.

Just to mention a couple:
Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa does a ton of shows....
Skipper's website is: http://www.skipperssmokehouse.com

The Cajun Cafe on the Bayou located in Pinellas Park is another great place they could play and their Annual Crawfish Festival is April 3, 4 & 5, 2009:
Cajun Cafe's website is: http://www.cajuncafeonthebayou.olm.net/

Yeoman's Road Pub is just out of downtown Tampa on Davis Islands - a great place to play! A little small, but we can cram a lot of people there.
Yeoman's website is: http://www.tampagold.com/yeomanspub.htm

There are several places in Historic Ybor City as well.

Most importantly, there's the annual tradition since 1904 - For over 100 years Tampa Bay has celebrated the invasion of the 165 foot pirate ship “The Jose Gasparilla”. Nearly half a million people from all over the world gather for the Gasparilla themed festivities!

Gasparilla is Tampa's version of Mardi Gras!! The website is: http://www.gasparillaextravaganza.com/

Being in one of the many Krewes in Tampa, the Crewe of Bobbie C. Davis - see our website at http://www.cbcd.org - has a float and joins in the parades and events, our 10 year anniversary is THIS coming year and would love to invite the band to play and join in many events going on at that time.

EVENTS:
Children's parade Jan 24th
Naval Invasion Jan 25th - back by popular demand
SUPERBOWL in Tampa Feb 1st
the Gasparilla Day parade Feb 7th
the Sant 'Yago Knight parade on Feb 14th
the St Patty's Day parade in March

What do you think about Tampa? Please consider it. It's an awesome time and I know you and the guys would have a blast here!
Thanks
