SETH

A partial translation from an online site. I have too much time on my hands.....

The Holy Kiss are one of the multiple tips of the iceberg Hungry Eye. Of San Francisco as some another of the companions of the seal and as recognizable as the slopes of the city, its proposal so is risked like interesting. Thanks to they Give Skibra (Hungry Eye Records) we put us in contact with them and they thought it proper to answer our questions. We expect them around here. The Holy Kiss, photo yielded by the group 1. To begin, we would like that presented you to all the people that does not yet know you in Spain (do not they know what are lost).

Hello. We are The Holy Kiss, of San Francisco, California. Matty Rue sings and touches the guitar slide. Nick Ott is the battery and pianist. Alli Pheteplace is a guitarist, occasional battery and who touches other instruments. Panther MacDonald touches the low one. We have been touching with this formation since the 2006. Before that, Dawn Hillis touched the low one and Alli touched with us alone occasionally.

2. Because you elected a name as The Holy Kiss? Sacred references or simply by irony…

The name of the band comes from a ritual that use the Baptist Manipulators of snakes in the south of the United States, in which all the men kiss between itself and all the women kiss among itself before the priest give a sermon. We are not a group "rare", like who says, although one of our members yes that be it, but we like to throw in face to the people its prejudices. So the name has a sacred component and another ironic one. There are many different versions from the sacred kiss in different Christian sects, but we prefer the version of the manipulators of snakes. The names of the groups are all a little fools if you analyze them too much.
