Hi all.
I know that it has indeed been months since i've been on here. There have been moments when i wanted to check in, but man, there are almost too many websites nowadays...I don't know which one to go to first, You all tell me.... what is it? Facebook? Myspace? Twitter? anywhere else that i dont know about and should be a part of?? Is it all just too much? Or is this just the beginning? I'm going on the ride, whether i like it or not :)
I do have some news. I played Wakarusa Festival yesterday and had a BLAST. Played a never before heard song called "Together As Two". I wrote that tune a few years ago w/ Larry Klein, before i recorded "You". It didn't make the record but perhaps this next one... Perhaps. It seemed to go over well enough, and i enjoyed the groooove.
I've been working hard on my next record. We are planning on recording this fall, and i can't wait for you all to hear the new tunes. There are many stories i've been collecting over the past few years, and i feel like they are falling down nicely onto the page and into my songs. As of right now, it all feels more focused than anything i've ever done.
I went to Jazzfest about a month ago (AMAZING) and Lucky Magazine came to my hotel room and made this little video with me. its by far the cutest thing i've ever done, and i heart Cat, my girl from Lucky. Check it out, i think you will like it and it gives lots of fashion & festival tips from moi!

so i hope to blog more soon... also planning on launching a new website and blog on there- i am actually really excited about that. I will talk about music of course, but also it will be a lifestyle blog as well. i feel truly blessed to be able to travel the world and discover local flavors... i want to share more of that with you all. So i will keep you posted.
