With Honor broke up. This is off John Ross' myspace...

With Honor played its last show in Worcester the other night. The end of one of the most important chapters in my life so far and the beginning of what i'm left with. It didnt dawn on me that this was the end of an era for me until Pat announced the last song. I slowly began to realize that this thing, this entity called With Honor was about to be just a memory, but maybe thats not such a bad thing. I thought about all the memories i have from these last four years on the way back from the show. Good and bad. All the amazing shows we played, the amazing people we met, all the places we got to travel to, all the bands we got to play with, and how much it all meant to me. It was all like a dream come true, and i'll carry these memories with me for the rest of my life.

So, to anyone who came and hung out with us at a show, anyone who is still proud to wear a With Honor shirt, anyone who believed in us and our music through thick and thin, anyone who stuck with us no matter what, and anyone who made all the sacrafice and struggle worthwhile . . . i want to offer up all the grattitude i have. If it meant even a fraction of what it meant to me, to anyone else, then we accomplished our goal. Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart.

love,
John Honor

Hey, this is Nick from Haste. I just wanted to drop my two cents in here and tell you dudes how fucking bummed to hear that you actually broke up. I kept hoping that you were just taking some time off and would eventually start playing again. When we toured Canada together I liked your band, but I didn't really "get it". I was more impressed with what good dudes you all seemed to be. It wasn't until I got This Is Our Revenge (and i didn't get that until a year and a half ago) that i realized how much I fucking loved your band. It still literally gives me chill bumps every time I listen to that record. With Honor was the last "hardcore" band that i have given two shits about in a very long time. The level of sincerity that comes through in those songs is unreal, and I'm fucking pissed that by the time I really caught on to how amazing your band was, you guys had called it quits. So for what it's worth, there is one dude in Birmingham that is still loves your band. Good luck with all the other projects. I wish you guys the best with everything you do. You suck dick for breaking up but i guess i understand. Oh yeah, and since you broke up I'm stealing a line from a song and using it in my new band. take care guys.

yeh I was lucky to see them back in the day, but sadly when I didn't appreciate how good they were. Awesome music and they'll go down as legends.
