On Tuesday, November 10, Kris Allen, Cat Deeley, Johnny Galecki, Jeff Probst and Sofia Vergara announced the nominations for the
36th Annual People's Choice Awards, with Jim Carrey nominated in the 'Favorite Comedic Star' category. Running against him for the coveted award are Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Ryan Reynolds and Vince Vaughn and the movie categories have been dominated by blockbuster vampire movies from "Twilight" to "True Blood".
As it's 'the People's Choice' awards, a voting line has been opened through
pcaVOTE.com. The awards which recognize the mediums of film, music and television and those involved, will be aired live on the CBS Television Network on January 6, 2010 from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Queen Latifah.
